These hoops are carved and cast in solid sterling silver

They are not plated

but I have re-worked my father's anthurium so now there is a "right" and "left" so it can be earrings (not just a pendant as he originally intended)

then thickly dipped in 14k gold

Sunset Ocean Hoops (Gold Vermeil) Valentines natural fig and plumsOur sturdy hoops are carved and cast in solid sterling silver, then heavily dipped in over 2. 5 microns of 14k gold (this process is called "Gold Vermeil" in the industry). Earring hooks are 14kgf of course! We love the "waves upon waves" design and this hoop hangs facing forward and reminds me of looking out into the sun setting against the ocean horizon.
